At St Thomas’ we welcome and encourage parental involvement in school activities.  Children’s progress is discussed with parents/carers on a termly basis at parents’ evenings.

The school also considers that homework is an important part of child’s education and can add much to a child’s development.  Children benefit greatly from the mutual support of parents/carers and teachers in encouraging them to learn both at home and at school.  We see homework as an important way of establishing successful dialogue between teachers and parents/carers.

We have a strong PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) that does excellent work to raise additional money for school funds.
