PTFA
St Thomas of Canterbury School’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a voluntary group run by parents/carers who meet on a regular basis. It is open to all parents, carers, friends and staff of the school. Parents/carers of children at the school are automatically members of the Association.
The Committee works with the headteachers, staff and governors and organizes a range of functions and events which are of interest to children, parents, staff and the wider community. The aim of the PTFA is to raise money towards additional resources for the school and to enhance the relationship between the school, parents, families and the parish. The PTFA run many of the social and fundraising events in school and contribute a lot towards cohesion in our school community.
St Thomas’ PTFA welcomes all parents and carers to join them in helping to raise funds for the school. They hold monthly meetings where they plan and organise the many events that they hold throughout the year. All of the money raised by the PTFA benefits the children of the school.
