Head´s Welcome

St Thomas of Canterbury is first and foremost a Catholic school and this ethos underpins everything that we do – “Jesus is at the heart of everything we think, do and say.” Through this approach we are able to develop the whole child; academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. In this way, our children leave St Thomas’ ready for the next stage of their education, developing them into lifelong learners.
At St Thomas’ we have a caring and dedicated team of staff who work hard to ensure that our children receive the best education possible. Aside from the core subjects of English, Maths and RE, our curriculum includes an art specialist delivering high quality lessons to all classes and sports coaches delivering lessons to the whole school from Nursery to Year 6. We are also proud of the many trips we send our children on to enhance and enrich their curriculum experience.
We are a friendly and diverse school and we celebrate all that our families bring with them to our community. We look forward to welcoming you to our school and to developing our partnership with parents to ensure that all of the children at St Thomas’ can develop into the best individual that they can be.
